Bukayo Saka injury update for Arsenal vs. Fulham

Arsenal star right winger Bukayo Saka is one of the best players in the world, but the Gunners haven’t been able to get the full benefit of his talents in the 2024/25 Premier League and Champions League seasons due to a rash of injuries.

Saka has been out most recently since Dec. 22 with a hamstring injury, and he has missed a total of 20 games and more than 100 days of action as a result. Earlier this season, he had already missed a handful of games with muscular injuries.

After the March international break, Arsenal will face off against one of the Premier League’s European hopefuls on Tuesday night on an April Fool’s Day at the Emirates against Fulham.

According to Caught Offside, via afcstuff, there is increasing optimism that Saka will be able to suit up for the Gunners due to what he has shown when training with the ball.

However, the report notes that Arsenal will continue to exercise caution with their superstar player and won’t sacrifice his health for one game, and the decision to play him against Fulham could be a game-time one.

It looks like Arsenal are playing it wise with Saka, and it is positive to hear that they are leaving the door open for his return, which should be soon. The most important thing for the Gunners, with Liverpool sewing up the Premier League, is to have their best player and goal threat at 100 percent for the Champions League tie against defending champions Real Madrid.
