Tottenham may have found an obvious bargain as Harry Kane’s late replacement
Harry Kane left Tottenham last summer for Bayern Munich in pursuit of gold and glory, only to find that even at Die Roten, his curse will still not be broken thanks to the juggernaut that is Real Madrid and the new juggernaut that is Bayer Leverkusen.
Meanwhile, Tottenham had a relatively more successful 2023/24 campaign without Kane, thanks to the work of new manager Ange Postecoglou, who has proven to be a much better fit for Spurs than Italian coaching icon Antonio Conte.
