Manchester United have a different striker as their priority over Victor Osimhen

Manchester United will be in the market for a new striker on the summer 2025 transfer window for what seems like the third year running. According to a report from Foot Mercato's Santi Aouna and Sebastien Denis, Man United currently have a shortlist of four strikers that includes Victor Osimhen from Napoli, Sporting CP's Viktor Gyokeres, and Ipswich Town's Liam Delap as well as another unnamed player. Of those four, Gyokeres is their top target. It isn't surprising to see that Manchester United have a wide net of players they are interested in at striker, and the unnamed European No. 9 could very well be Hugo Ekitke of Eintracht Frankfurt or Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig - both talented young Bundesliga marksmen are wanted by other elite Premier League sides like Arsenal, Chelsea, and ev...

Liverpool are watching 3 top-class strikers on the transfer market

Liverpool are growing tired of Darwin Nunez's uneven performances and missed chances, so striker could be a priority for them in the summer transfer market. According to a report from talkSPORT's Alex Crook and Robert Calcutt, Liverpool are already looking at Viktor Gyokeres, Victor Osimhen, and Benjamin Sesko as three top candidates to start at striker next season. All of the best Premier League clubs besides Manchester City need a new striker next season and have been linked to these candidates. Gyokeres appears to be highest on the Arsenal and Manchester United shortlists, especially with the link between Ruben Amorim and the Swede at Sporting CP. Meanwhile, Sesko has been loved by Chelsea and Arsenal for more than a year, while Victor Osimhen seems to be favoring Chelsea heavily ...

Signing Victor Osimhen is even easier for Chelsea than you think

There is no question that Chelsea have improved considerably in the 2024/25 season under Enzo Maresca, and they are right at the cusp of returning to the Champions League if they can finish the campaign strong, currently sitting fifth neck-and-neck with Manchester City and Nottingham Forest in front and behind them. Chelsea actually have one of the better strikers in the Premier League, as Nicolas Jackson has become more consistent this season all-around. But he's still only scored 10 goals, showing that he can't quite carry the scoring load for a title hopeful on his own as a single striker. The Victor Osimhen transfer rumors have certainly not gone away, and after balking at last season's 130 million euro asking price, it would be alarming if Chelsea don't show significant interest...

Chelsea’s infuriating reason for not wanting Victor Osimhen transfer

Chelsea need to be on the hunt for a new striker in the summer 2025 transfer window, because while Nicolas Jackson is a solid all-around option worth keeping in the squad, he has shown that he can't be relied upon as even a 20-goal striker at the Premier League level. The Blues need goals to make it all come together, because in the likes of Jackson, Pedro Neto, and, of course, Cole Palmer, Chelsea have some good supplementary pieces. But it won't count if they don't have the right man to lead the line. Napoli star Victor Osimhen has long been viewed as a dream transfer target for the Blues, and after balking on the Partenopei's sky-high asking price of 130 million euros, Chelsea - and other interested clubs - would only need to pay about 75 million euros to land the Nigerian superst...

Why Victor Osimhen is the transfer target Chelsea can’t miss out on this summer

Chelsea have shown immediate improvement in the 2024/25 Premier League season under new coach Enzo Maresca, and barring a late-season collapse, which isn't entirely impossible, the Blues should be back in the Champions League next season. Cole Palmer has continued to lead the way as one of the best players in the Premier League, but the main source of improvement is the better usage of the midfielders, specifically the ultra-talented - and incredibly expensive - duo of Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez. Estevao Willian and Andrey Santos will be two young Brazilians set to reenforce the squad further next season, but even with those guys in the lineup, Chelsea will have key attacking questions to answer. Chelsea have a decent striker in Nicolas Jackson and Palmer as the playmaker, ...

5 swap deals top Serie A clubs must make in summer 2025

Swap deals don't get made nearly enough in football, and there's no league with a more enticing slate of potential trades than Serie A with so many clubs hoping to reach that next level, whether it's winning the Scudetto every year or getting over the Champions League hump. Here are five trades for every contending team in the Italian top flight to consider making in the summer 2025 transfer window. Juventus swap Dusan Vlahovic for Randal Kolo Muani with PSG The first swap deal on the list is the most obvious one. Dusan Vlahovic joined Juventus with a lot of hype in 2022 for a fee of over 80 million euros, but he has failed to live up to that hefty price tag - or the weight of being the Juventus No. 9. Vlahovic has so much talent, but it's not working out for him in Turin. With Thi...
