The Real Madrid star every other top manager is jealous of

Real Madrid are back to their sparkling best in the 2023/24 season, as they are running away with the LaLiga title and are through to the semifinals of the Champions League after dethroning defending champions Manchester City on penalties.

So many players have stood out for Real Madrid this season, with English superstar Jude Bellingham soaking up much of the applause in his first season at the Santiago Bernabeu, thanks to a staggering 17 goals from a midfield position.

While Bellingham is indeed Real Madrid’s best midfielder right now, the margin between him and some of his teammates is actually close than the goals scored total would indicate.

Fede Valverde has been one of the best midfielders in LaLiga since the 2019/20 season when Zinedine Zidane started utilizing the Uruguayan workhorse regularly.

A five million euro transfer bargain from Penarol, Valverde has steadily improved to the point where he is one of the world’s finest No. 8’s and is working on his best season as a chance-creator here in 2023/24.

Valverde has quietly put up seven assists in LaLiga with 1.4 key passes per game, winning 2.5 combined tackles and interceptions per match for Real Madrid.

Every single top club would love to get their hands on Valverde, and some clubs, such as Bayern Munich and PSG, have tried to do so.

The thing is, Fede Valverde would never think of leaving Real Madrid, and by giving him a one billion euro release clause, the Merengue club have made it crystal clear that the 25-year-old won’t leave at any price.

With how mature Valverde is in his leadership, outlook, and work ethic, it is hard to believe such a completed and tough midfielder is only 25.

Carlo Ancelotti has a warrior in his team who will run his socks off, snap into every tackle, boss the midfield, and play any position on the pitch required to help Real Madrid win.

Whether it is Thomas Tuchel, Pep Guardiola, or Jurgen Klopp, every single elite manager on the planet would beg to have a player like Valverde in their side. But Valverde is Madrid’s and Ancelotti’s to benefit from as the ultimate balance-tipper in midfield.
