1 ideal 2026 summer transfer window signing for every Premier League Big 6 club

There are still a couple of months left in the heated Premier League title race, Champions League battles, fight for European places, and even the relegation battle for one of the Big Six clubs.

But all the teams are keeping an eye peeled for the upcoming summer 2026 transfer window. So with taht in mind, here is an early look at dream signing for each of these prestigious clubs.

Arsenal

Arsenal’s biggest need is definitely on the left wing, so while Sandro Tonali is their ultimate dream target overall, the Gunners may actually benefit the most from landing his teammate Anthony Gordon to add some more pace and goal scoring to the Arsenal attack over the maddeningly inconsistent Gabriel Martinelli.

Gordon’s goal scoring exploits in the Champions League are especially intriguing, and you can only imagine how many more opportunities he would get in the Arsenal system, especially playing alongside creators Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard.

Chelsea

Chelsea one thousand percent have to upgrade their defense. It is by far the biggest weakness this team has, and it is inexplicable how they failed Enzo Maresca in two transfer windows when he practically begged them to make a signing.

Kim Min-jae has won titles at Napoli and Bayern Munich, and even though the Bayern brass have scapegoated him since Day 1, he is a world class defender and would immediately be the Blues best center back with all due respect to a healthy Levi Colwill.

Liverpool

Liverpool spent more than anyone else in the summer 2025 transfer window, but they still have gaping holes on the wing and in the center of midfield with Mohamed Salah declining, Cody Gakpo slumping, and even Ryan Gravenberch having a letdown year.

Most of all, Liverpool need to replace their wingers. The young and explosive Yan Diomande has to be the best signing they could get. He is doing insane things like picking Cruyff turns out of the air for Leipzig, and, well, Liverpool have had a TON of success recruiting from Jurgen Klopp’s newest employers.

Manchester City

Manchester City could lose Rodri to Real Madrid, and while I would bet on the Spanish international staying at the Etihad for at least a couple of more seasons, I would not necessarily bet my house on it.

But imagine Man City stealing away another world class center midfielder, Bruno Guimaraes, away from Newcastle United and pairing him as the bulldog next to the screening quality of Rodri. That would be insane and a checkmate move to Arsenal in the title race.

Manchester United

Manchester United could go in a number of directions and are eyeing Diomande themselves, but, man, they have to get new midfield blood in there, because even if Casemiro stays, these No. 6 and 8 options are atrocious.

No single player would transform them more from an intensity perspective than Elliot Anderson. In all reality, Manchester United need two new guys, but Anderson has been so, so good as the biggest breakout midfielder of the year for Nottingham Forest.

Tottenham Hotspur

I honestly don’t know who in their right mind would join Tottenham Hotspur at this point, because they could very well go down. But the biggest position of need is a deep lying playmaker. There is almost zero chance Adam Wharton goes for it, but it would be absurd to see him, Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall, and Xavi Simons on the same team together.
