The young talents coming up in the Premier League are getting better and better despite all the talk of the decline in overall quality. Here are the 10 best teenagers you need to know right now.
10. Mateus Mane, Wolves
18 year old midfielder Mateus Mane is drawing rave reviews and transfer interest from several Big Six clubs. He is a raw talent but has serious upside with his quality on the ball and ability to progress play, standing out among his peers with three dribbles completed and fouls drawn per game.
9. Ayden Heaven, Manchester United
It isn’t easy for young center backs to get a crack, and Ayden Heaven is being eased along by Manchester United. But he is so good that many Red Devils supporters feel he has the same upside, if not more, than another young phenom in Leny Yoro.
8. Josh Acheampong, Chelsea
Right back or center back? Back three or four? Honestly, it doesn’t matter. One of the best decisions Chelsea made was not to sell Josh Acheampong to a team known for hoarding top young talent like Dortmund or Bournemouth, because this guy is clearly special.

5. Eli Junior Kroupi, Bournemouth
Eli Junior Kroupi is rapidly emerging on the radar of the elite clubs in the Premier League, because he is on a tear this season at the age of 19. The attacking midfielder and striker is a modern No. 9 with his all around ability, and even at his young age, he has eight goals for the Cherries. He is getting better and better with each passing week and could be known as world class very soon.
4. Ethan Nwaneri, Arsenal
Arsenal have one of the finest academies in world football, and Ethan Nwaneri is one of their most prized possessions. It has been hard for him to get regular minutes, but, make no mistake, this man is still a special talent and should be a regular in 2026/27 if Mikel Arteta knows what’s good for him. Technically, he is on loan at Marseille right now and not exactly shining due to a lack of minutes, but you have to believe that the cream rises. He is still only 18.

One of the revelations of the 2025/26 Premier League season, Rio Ngumoha showed such composure at the age of 16 to start the season with a late winner against Newcastle, and there are Kopites who rightfully believe the left winger is already a better option than Cody Gakpo. Rio is the future of English football, and it is not a stretch to say that he is already one of the most electrifying dribblers in the league.
2. Max Dowman, Arsenal
Max Dowman has scored a potentially defining goal in the 2025/26 Premier League title race, and he is as brilliant as any young talent we have seen in recent Premier League history. At 16, Dowman stands out as one of Arsenal’s best attacking players whenever he does play, as he has the technical quality, athleticism, finishing ability, and even his ability to make things happen as a dribbler with the ball at his feet.

The only reason why Dowman isn’t No. 1 is because Estevao Willian is just that dang good. He is already one of the best right wingers – and honestly No. 10’s – in the Premier League, and you can only imagine his numbers if he and his Chelsea teammates didn’t have so many injuries. Estevao’s skill as a dribbler, pace, explosiveness, agility, and technical quality with vicious ball striking belied by his slight frame are among the elites in world football. He is more of a future Ballon d’Or threat than Cole Palmer.
