The 2026/27 European football league season is going to begin in a matter of weeks, and with it, a new season of Sorare Fantasy Football will be upon us. Because they can get goals, assists, dribbles completed, and other ancillary statistics, wingers are often the highest scorers in Sorare and the biggest stars in their league. And an elite player can get you in the top 10 of the leaderboard on the path to bagging huge numbers.
Here are five wingers who are not quite priced as a Vinicius Junior or a Lamine Yamal but are ready to take that next step to being an elite point scorer in Sorare Fantasy this season.
Andreas Schjelderup, Benfica
Andreas Schjelderup had a phenomenal World Cup campaign with a goal and three assists despite primarily coming off the bench. While his name has been linked to some big European clubs this summer transfer window, the 22 year old already plays for a pretty big club. And he wasn’t just a one hit World Cup wonder. Schjelderup had a promising Liga NOS and Champions League campaign as a creator and progressive dribbler, and he is ready to take a big next step and become the next high scoring winger in the Portuguese top flight.
Carlos Forbs, Club Brugge
Christos Tzolis put up insane numbers last season for Club Brugge and got his big transfer to Arsenal to replace Leandro Trossard, but his younger Portuguese teammate at Club Brugge, Carlos Forbs, has even more upside. He is an explosive dribbler who can create chances, and if he can take that next step to add end product, he will be one of the highest scoring players in Sorare this season.
Konstantinos Karetsas, Borussia Dortmund
As Yan Diomande taught us last season, the Bundesliga is always good for a new surprise on the wings, and Konstantinos Karetsas has breakout star written all over him at Dortmund. He is a massive upgrade on the right wing with better creativity and even consistency at the age of 18 than Karim Adeyemi. Karetsas had four assists and two goals in the Europa League last season, and he is a great bet to rack up double digit assists and 30 starts in lieu of any other options for BVB.
Yankuba Minteh, Brighton
An inspired transfer steal from Newcastle United, Yankuba Minteh has made himself right at home for Brighton, one of the best clubs in the world at finding great young talent around European football. Minteh is an explosive dribbler who tirelessly drives at defenses and progresses the ball. If he can convert more key passes into assists, he could blow up this season and is ready for even more responsibility as the star man of the Brighton attack.
Martin Baturina, Como
Big clubs in European football have been whispering their interest in Como breakout star Martin Baturina, who followed up a season with more than two key passes per game as Nico Paz’s sidekick out wide with an electrifying World Cup as the unsung hero and best player on Croatia. Como know what they have in Baturina and are not going to sell him for anything less than an exorbitant fee. With Paz staying and Como in the Champions League, this could be the Year of Baturina in European football.
