Could Brighton swoop in and steal the Premier League’s most in-demand transfer prospect?

When Roberto De Zerbi decided to leave Brighton over disputes with the club owner’s about transfer strategy, many expected that it would be a quiet summer for the Seagulls. It turns out, the opposite is true.  According to The Athletic’s Andy Naylor, Brighton are chasing Newcastle United’s Yankuba Minteh. The Gambia international spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Feyenoord. He impressed with the Dutch side, and is one of the most in-demand young attackers of the 2024 summer transfer window.  Everton and Olympique Lyon are reportedly the frontrunners for the 19-year-old’s signature. Borussia Dortmund, Roma, and Marseille also have been linked to Minteh. Some reports claim Lyon have already submitted a €40 million dollar offer for the young Gambian.  It is hard to see Everton matc...

Brighton’s brilliant transfer could land them an eventual top-class Premier League midfielder

Leicester City star midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall could be on his way to the South Coast.  Reports from Fabrizio Romano, top Brighton reporters, and from Poland have all confirmed that Brighton and Leicester have agreed to a swap deal involving Dewsbury-Hall and Brighton’s Jakub Moder.  Both clubs have given a green-light to the deal and Moder is open to the move. Dewsbury-Hall, meanwhile, has not committed to the deal after Chelsea made a last-minute enquiry with Leicester about the midfielder. Dewsbury-Hall played for Chelsea’s new manager Enzo Maresca in the Championship with Leicester last season, but it’s not clear where he will fit in at Stamford Bridge considering the Blues’ plethora of midfield options.  Despite the uncertainty about where and whether he will play, D...

Aston Villa qualified for the Conference League in 2022/23 under Emery, brought in one of the best young wingers in the world in Moussa Diaby, and further improved to reach the Champions League. Where does Manchester City’s back four rank among the world’s best?

Manchester City repeated as Premier League champions for a fourth year in a row, holding off title challenges from recent competitors Arsenal and usual title rivals Liverpool. Although Man City's attacking superstars like Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne draw the most international headlines, the strength of this side lies in a steady defense that maintains consistency throughout the season. With new signing Josko Gvardiol, the starting back line of Gvardiol, Ruben Dias, Nathan Ake, and Kyle Walker was exceptional, just as it was when Ake was removed so that the unit was a back three. Furthermore, Manchester City have additional defensive options in Manuel Akanji and former center back - now defensive midfielder - John Stones. In short, Manchester City are loaded in defense. ...

A West Ham starting lineup with Youssef En-Nesyri to get back to European football

West Ham began the 2023/24 season brightly under David Moyes and look poised to push for European football, but their season unraveled in the second half. Although West Ham were hurt by key absences in the attack, the larger problem was a lethargic playing style under Moyes and a series of poor results that compounded on each other, leaving the Hammers spiraling. In the end, West Ham finished a measly ninth in the Premier League, ultimately failing to pull ahead of disappointing giants Chelsea, Newcastle, or even Manchester United. It will be back to the drawing board for West Ham this summer, but they will be led by a new manager, having hired former Wolves, Sevilla, and Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui to lead the way. One of Lopetegui's key transfer targets appears to be hi...

The 10 best players Chelsea could sign on the summer 2024 transfer market

Cole Palmer is legitimately a Premier League Player of the Season candidate, while right back Malo Gusto ranks among the best right backs on the planet right now. Chelsea finished well outside the top four for yet another season, but with the right moves, there is optimism that the London-based club can get back to European football's premier competition. Here are the 10 best overall players Chelsea could sign in the summer...

But Chelsea still don't have a top striker to lead the line. Fellow summer 2023 addition Nicolas Jackson showed signs of growth at the end of his first Chelsea campaign, but he still seems to be too inconsistent to be a true superstar striker in the Premier League. As Chelsea continue to look at options on the open market at striker, here are their five best bets in the summer 2024 transfer window. Brighton’s best player will make his future decision absolutely agonizing

After missing out on a top-half finish in the 2023/24 Premier League season, Brighton could be set to lose their best player. Reports from Germany this week claim Pascal Gross is undecided about his future with Brighton and could leave the club this summer. Bild described Gross' future as "still pending" while he focuses on the 2024 Euros campaign with Germany. Gross somewhat confirmed these reports, revealing that he is “ready for a return” to Germany and that he has been for some time.   However, the versatile midfielder would not be drawn into commenting on the specific rumors linking him to Eintracht Frankfurt. “I don't want to comment on rumors.
