Jarell Quansah isn’t the only top Bundesliga CB talent on Liverpool’s transfer radar

As Liverpool contemplate bringing Jarell Quansah back after his sensational first season with Bayer Leverkusen as their replacement for Jonathan Tah, they are also considering another burgeoning talent in the Bundesliga, Nnamdi Collins of Eintracht Frankfurt.

It has been a disappointing 2025/26 Bundesliga campaign for the Eagles, who were a sleeper team to fight at the top of the Bundesliga but are instead at risk of not qualifying for European football despite a team loaded with great young players.

Collins is one of them, but he is part of a disappointing group of defenders. Per a report from Sky Sports Germany, Liverpool are interested in the Frankfurt center back, who carries a price tag of 40 million euros, at a minimum, from a team famous for selling players for a lot of money.

Liverpool know that, of course, as they spent around 80 million euros on striker Hugo Ekitike, but he has been worth every penny. And maybe Collins would be, too, though he would likely be a Plan B to Quansah, as the former Liverpool prospect has been even better this season.

Just 22 years old, Collins has not started every game, but his numbesr are insane and his potential might be the highest of any defender in German football. He is averaging 3.4 combined tackles and interceptions per game to just 0.4 dribbles completed per game despite being a sub in 7 of his 20 league appearances.

Collins, per Sky Germany, has already changed agents and is prepared for the next step at a big Premier League club like Liverpool. Honestly, there is no shame in spending close to 100 million euros to sign both guys.
