West Ham find another striker transfer target that is exactly what they don’t need
West Ham are busy looking at possible options at the striker position in the January 2025 transfer window after losing Niclas Fullkrug for three months with an injury against Aston Villa in the FA Cup.
So far, most of the options are flawed, as the dream targets, like Jhon Duran, are undeniably impossible reaches for the Hammers budget or simply not available at all.
West Ham probably want to sign someone who is proven, has some future upside, costs under 50 million pounds, and doesn't come with an extensive injury history; they already have enough of those.
According to a report from Claret and Hugh, West Ham's data analyst has been recommending names to the club for possible January 2025 signings, and one well-known player he brought up is RB Leipzig striker Andre Silva.
